Charlotte's love of Pre-Columbian and ethnic art and the bird and feather images are the basis of the patterns that she creates on her fine art gourds. Using a wide variety of mediums and techniques each gourd is one-of-a-kind and unique. Much like sculptors work with clay to create works that go beyond utilitarian purposes, Charlotte takes the hard-shelled gourd into the fine art realm creating an unusual and original work of art. She will work individually with art lovers who are interested in commissioning an art gourd with a special idea in mind.
