Receiving a reprimand for drawing on the living room wall with Playdough™ at the tender age of 4 years did not deter me from creating art. Brushes and oil paints are now my chosen tools which I use to create impressionistic representations of subject matter we often take for granted. Painting from life is crucial for my artistic growth and it’s thrilling for me to paint outdoors with the challenges of constantly changing light and weather conditions. I travel with supplies in tow to paint at locations ranging from the St. Croix River valley, to the American west, and Europe.
