Jane Dierberger
I grew up in the Adirondack State Park in New York, and graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a BS in Economics. Drawing and painting were always a part of my early life from my childhood forward. I have lived in Stillwater for the past 17 years with my family and have been selling my art professionaly for three years. I paint primarily in oils from my home studio in the woods, usually with a dog or two at my feet. My training in art consists of observation and independent study, supplemented by workshops and classes. Two artists whose work has been highly influential in my life are Winslow Homer and NC Wyeth.
I am inspired by many things, but nature is my primary inspiration for creativity. Nature represents to me, timelessness; truth; absolute beauty; peace and harmony. My paintings are often landscapes with man interacting within. They represent moments in time that moved me. I hope by looking at my paintings you are able to experience some of the same joy, beauty and awe that I did.
