I have been a life-long resident of the Twin Cities area, first in Minneapolis, then more recently in Stillwater. I bought my first camera In the late 1970's and have been taking photographs ever since. My other passion in life is traditional Irish music.
Before I ever held a camera, I felt a spirit in natural areas. In my photography, I have sought out untouched places where this spirit remains. I have found them in Minnesota, Alaska, the Southwest United States, and other countries of the world. It is my hope that you will find in my photographs not only the physical beauty of these places, but also the spirit.
