I've been drawing and painting since I was young. Nature has always been soothing and inspirational, a source that has strengthened my faith in a higher power that I could rely on. I have a B.S. Degree in Art from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I've had additional art instruction at Mankato State University, Minnesota College of Art and Design, and the University of Minnesota. My art has taken many forms, but my true love is painting, either in watercolor, acrylics or mixed media. I love color blending, texture, and unexpected results that push me toward something new, either realistically or in abstract form. My favorite past-time is being out in nature observing how it changes, flows, and inspires. I hope somehow to convey that in my paintings and to inspire the observer to pause, reflect, and maybe dream a little and be inspired. God is good.
